Sylvani Skins and Hair by Caverna Obscura
Today sees the launch of the new Sylvani line of products by Caverna Obscura. The Sylvani are humanoid plant people. They are neither elves, nor faeries, neither dryads nor fae. Some sylvani closely resemble elves, with angular features, tilted eyes and pointed ear tips, others possess more plantlike features such as bark-based bone structure. Their flesh consists of vines covered with leaves, their hair is foliage and petals, and their bones are made of wood. The figure of this creature is not formed from a human with leaves on top of it, but rather a human shape made from grown plant parts. Sylvani are slender and beautiful plant creatures, their apperiance reflects seasons of the year much like the foliage of the plant does.
Today’s release will be the female skins and hair styles, with more variety and special outfits designed for Sylvani to follow. I’m not sure as of yet if i will be making a male version as well, but i want to give it a try at least, as i’ve never made anything for males before.
So far available in 4 skin tones: Spring, Summer, Autumn Light, Autumn Dark. Each set includes 2 skins with lips variations (no mod/copy), shape (copy/mod), 2 pair of sculpted prim ears (leafy and twiggy), sculpted prim leafy lashes. Please note that hair styles and outfits shown on the pictures are not included, but are available separately.
Although these hairstyles are meant to be worn with Sylvani skins, they are also quite suitable for the normal human skin. In that case, it is recommended to wear included bark skin tattoo for a smoother transition of the skin to folliage. If you plan to wear these hair styles with matching Sylvani skins then the bark skin tattoo is not necessary, but of course possible.
There are demos available for all the skins and hair styles. So be sure to try them out first. ^^
Watch this space for more Sylvani goodness! 😉
